Writing Prompt: Class of 2020

Today’s prompt might get a little emotional and that’s okay.

If you are a senior right now, I want you to write a letter or speech to your class. If you don’t want to address your whole class (I get it), then write a letter to your friends, family, or teachers. I want you to talk about your accomplishments, your hopes for the future, and what you’re thankful for right now.

If you are not a senior, write a letter or speech to your classmates, friends, teachers, or family. What are you hopeful for? What are your plans for the future? What have you accomplished this year?

Focus on the positives. I know that can be hard right now, I really do. Do the best you can and take as much time as you need. If you can only think of one positive thing, write about that.

Wishing you the best during this difficult time. More prompts tomorrow!
