When the world is shifting and it feels like you have little control over it, it helps to write about what you are thankful for no matter how little it may seem.
Today, I want you to write about what you are thankful for during this time. Are you still able to talk with you friends over the phone? Are you thankful for your favorite podcasts or books? Are you glad you get to spend more time with your family?
Take 10 minutes to write. It can be in a list format or standard prose. Write it out. Take your time and really think about everything you have to be thankful for right now. I know this can be hard to do, especially when everything feels so out of control. If your list is small, that’s okay. If you’re struggling to come up with things to write, think small. Are you thankful for your favorite pajamas or video game? Whatever it is, write it down.
For me, it’s extra time with my family and more writing time. When times are hard, let’s write.
